13 years ago Vernakular was born. I sold my first photo-based t-shirt, designed and made in my East Village apartment, at a designer market on Mulberry Street. Even though I didn't sell that many t-shirts that day, I truly believed in the idea and I never looked back. I was simply enjoying the process of thinking about new ideas and creating new products. We started with t-shirts, then later came stationery products, metal prints, and leather accessories, such as wallets, cardholders, passport holders, and luggage tags.
