Project + Patent - Take Out Container Patent - T-Shirt, Black with Metallic Silver Ink

Project + Patent is a line of graphic t-shirts inspired by original patents of ubiquitous, seemingly ordinary objects.

The Take-Out Container t-shirt is one of our funnest (or is it most fun) shirts. The playful graphic might make you smirk, especially if you love Chinese take-out. If you don't, you can at least appreciate the patent origami-inspired design, originally called the "Paper Pail" by Frederick W. Wilcox. Fun fact: Patented in Chicago on November 13, 1894, the design consists of one piece of cardboard creased and folded into a (virtually) leak-proof container!

The shirts are all hand silk screened using water-based ink on 100 percent cotton soft tees. Black shirt with metallic silver water-based ink.
